Principle Homes is a structured, principle-based recovery home, built on the same steps you already know, and a community that expects more of you because it believes more in you.
Principle Homes exists because too many recovery homes are built to manage people, not build them. Beds, rules, curfews, and not much else.
We do things differently. Every resident lives inside a structure that mirrors the 12 steps, but the house itself is organized around five working principles: structure, accountability, community, growth, and purpose. It's not a slogan; it's how the week is actually built.
You'll have a bed, a curfew, and drug testing, same as anywhere serious. You'll also have a program that treats you like someone building toward something, not someone being watched.
Founder, Principle Homes
My story with addiction did not begin when I entered this work. It began the day I was born.
For as long as I can remember, substance abuse has affected my family. I have seen firsthand how addiction can break families, limit potential, and leave people searching for hope. Those experiences shaped my life and ultimately gave me a deep sense of purpose.
Throughout my career in community development and real estate, I have been passionate about creating opportunities that strengthen people and neighborhoods. That same passion led me to start Principle Homes. I believe recovery is about more than achieving sobriety. It is about holistic transformation. It is about helping people rebuild their lives with stability, purpose, accountability, and community.
At Principle Homes, we provide more than a safe place to live. We are committed to creating an environment where men can heal, grow, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Every resident has a unique story, and every person deserves the opportunity to write a new chapter.
For me, this is more than a business. It is personal. My hope is that Principle Homes helps break cycles of addiction, restores families, and reminds every resident that their past does not have to define their future.
Clean, quiet, and kept up, because the space you live in should feel like part of the recovery, not an afterthought.
Every resident works a 12-step program. Around it, the house runs on five principles that shape daily life, not abstractions, but the actual structure of the week.
Set wake times, curfews, and routine drug testing. Structure isn't punishment; it's the scaffolding early recovery runs on.
Every resident is paired with a house accountability partner and checks in on step work weekly, not just when something goes wrong.
You don't recover alone in a room. Shared meals, house meetings, and a network of residents who've been where you are.
Job search support, life-skills workshops, and goals that extend past sobriety, toward the life you're actually building.
Recovery has to fit into a real schedule, or it doesn't stick. Here's the rhythm.
Two structured house meetings a week: step work, accountability check-ins, and whatever the house needs to talk through.
Off-site activities every other week, from fitness to community service, built around connection, not just supervision.
Once a month, the house marks progress together: sobriety milestones, goal check-ins, and a shared meal.
Clear expectations up front, so nobody moves in without knowing exactly what's required and what's provided.
